This tutorial was written for those
that have a working knowledge of PSP.

Supplies Needed:

PSP 9 (any version will work)

Tube of choice
I used artwork by - Suzanne Woolcott

Font of choice,i used Fanzine

..::Let's Begin::..

Open your supplies in paintshop and minimize for now.

Open a 500x500 blank canvas,flood fill white.

Pick a background out of your kit and paste as new layer,go to layers/new mask layer from image and find your WSL_Mask5/source luminance checked/invert mask data unchecked and click ok. go to your layer pallet and merge group.

Pick another background,this is for your star shape go to your materials pallet and for your fourground select your background as that and for your background make that transparent.

Click on your presets shape tool and select your star and use these settings:


and draw out a medium sized star,add drop shadow of choice.

Click on your freehand selections and draw around your star,don't go over the edges. yours should look like this with the marching ants around it:



Click on your mask layer and paste your image as a new layer with the marching ants still around your star go to selections/invert,hit delete on your keyboard.

Click on your mask layer and paste your cherryblossoms_too as a new layer position it the way you want it.

Click on your star frame and paste your cherryblossoms flower as a new layer,place it at the bottom of your star frame look at my tag for example.

With your star frame still active place a few of your bows as a new layer and position them the way you want. look at mine for example.

Add a button of choice to the corners of your frame,add drop shadow of choice.

Click on your background layer and add one of your journaling patches and position it how you like duplicate that layer and go to image/mirror.

Add all your copyright info and your name and save as png.
